Author Spotlight

I wanted to do an author spotlight on an author whom I feel totally deserves the honor, and to get her name out there because if you haven't heard of her yet...just wait, you will!!

Meet: LEAH CYPESS
Author of: Mistwood and Nightspell

The two books are companion novels, and while I own Nightspell, I haven't yet delved into what I'm sure is going to be a book just as simply amazing as Mistwood, I have to admit that my reason for purchasing Mistwood in the first place...was the gorgeous cover artwork.

Any author who can create this other world that is so vivid and visual that the reader feels they are there along with the characters gets a gold star in my book. With amazing description and three-dimensional characters, not a second of the book goes by with a lack of interest.

A visit to Cypess's website and Goodreads page give insight into who she is as an author. When you learn how passionate that the author is when it comes to writing, it makes the book that much more special. After receiving her law degree from Columbia, Cypess continued to write and submit her work, never giving up. Fifteen years after her first submission, Cypess is finally a well-deserved published author!
