Appearance: Petite 4'10", pixie-like with a graceful gait. Spiky, short black hair. 

Special Vampire Power: She can see the future. She can read humans and vampires, but cannot read werewolves or half-breeds.

Personality: Bubbly and optimistic; full of energy and enthusiasm.

Hobbies and Interests: Shopping, make-overs, and throwing parties.

Alice's Human History: Born in 1901 in Biloxi, Mississippi. Alice was committed to an insane asylum due to her premonitions. While in the asylum, Alice was turned by an old vampire who worked there, to protect her from James, a tracker vampire who was hunting her. 

How Alice and Jasper Met: Alice had a vision of Jasper finding her before Jasper himself knew he was looking for her. They met in a diner in Philadelphia where Alice informed Jasper that she'd been waiting a long time for him. Confused, Jasper "ducked his head like a good southern gentleman" and answered, "I'm sorry ma'am." She then gave him her hand, which he took, and gave Jasper hope "for the first time in almost a century." Eventually, through their companionship and travels, they fell in love. In 1950 they met Carlisle and have been part of the coven ever since.

Why Alice is (Blood)Thirsty-Worthy: From the first time that I read Twilight I knew Alice was definitely one of my favorite vampires of all time. She's quirky and cute with lots of spunk and individuality. She is a great friend, always there to lend a helping hand, and a sucker for romance and true love. Alice is truly in her element when she can throw a great party and bring those she loves closer together. Alice is an amazing friend to Bella, and without her I can't see the series being what it is.
